Alana is the Clinical Director and Lead Therapist at Orange County Eating Disorder Therapist Group, a unique practice where clients have the ability to work with a dedicated team to address their treatment goals. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with a Marriage and Family Therapy specialization from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. With many years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient eating disorder treatment centers, Alana has worked at many of the leading facilities for eating disorder treatment across the western United States.
Alana specializes in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family/Marital Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), for which she is certified. She has extensive experience treating adolescents and adults with eating disorders at all levels of care, ranging from residential treatment to outpatient services. Alana understands the differing and unique needs of individuals facing challenges with disordered eating, body image, and their relationship with food.
In her role, Alana collaborates with team members weekly to develop customized treatment plans for each client, ensuring a tailored approach that promotes the fastest path to recovery. As a compassionate, warm, and patient clinician, she finds joy in helping individuals and families reach their highest potential in life. By fostering a supportive therapeutic environment, Alana enables clients to explore their experiences and work towards recovery with confidence.
Emma Rockvam is a dedicated Associate Marriage & Family Therapist. With a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor's degree in Education, Learning, and Behavioral Studies from UC Riverside, Emma brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice.
Emma is passionate about reducing stigma around mental health and providing early intervention for youth facing challenges such as interpersonal conflicts, self-esteem issues, body image concerns, and grief. She has specialized training in treating eating disorders and anxiety disorders, having worked for several years in residential treatment for eating disorders. This experience, combined with four years as a behavioral therapist for neurodivergent children in various settings, including schools and homes, equips her to support a diverse range of clients.
In her therapeutic approach, Emma utilizes a range of modalities tailored to the unique needs of each client and family. Her preferred interventions include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for anxiety disorders, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, and Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders. Additionally, she employs Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques to enhance emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
Emma is committed to fostering a strong mind-body connection in her clients, promoting holistic healing that encourages individuals to feel integrated and grounded as they navigate life's challenges and joys. Jordan Risko is a dedicated therapist specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, with several years of experience in residential treatment settings. Believing that secure attachment forms the foundation for meaningful relationships—ones that foster intimacy, trust, and safety—Jordan understands that the relationships experienced early in life can either instill a sense of belonging and security or leave individuals feeling rejected and disconnected. These early imprints significantly shape how one navigates their relationship with food, body image, and themselves.
Jordan holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brandman University and received her B.A. in Strategic and Corporate Communications from Chapman University. In practice, she focuses on helping individuals struggling with eating disorders to deepen their connection to themselves and their bodies. The goal is to empower clients to reclaim their lives by addressing the underlying emotional and psychological factors contributing to their eating disorders.

Janice Baker is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and a dedicated advocate for nutritional health. She holds multiple certifications, including Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDE), Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC), and Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM). Janice earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and also holds an MBA.
With extensive experience in the field, Janice served as the Assistant Director of Food and Nutrition for Palomar Health for many years, where she honed her skills in managing dietary programs and supporting patient needs. She has also worked with numerous residential eating disorder treatment centers, providing specialized nutritional guidance to clients on their journey to recovery.
Janice is passionate about empowering individuals through education and personalized nutrition plans. Her comprehensive approach focuses on fostering a healthy relationship with food, addressing both physical and emotional aspects of eating. With her expertise and compassionate demeanor, Janice is committed to helping clients achieve their health goals and improve their overall well-being.
Jennifer Massey is a dedicated Registered Dietician specializing in eating disorders, mental health, and nutrition. With a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Science in Nutrition, Health Span, and Longevity from the University of Southern California, Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.
In addition to her work at the Orange County Eating Disorder Therapist Group, Jennifer currently serves as a Clinical Pediatric Primary Dietician at CHOC Children's Hospital Orange County and has been there for several years. This experience has enriched her understanding of pediatric nutrition and the unique challenges faced by young patients.
Jennifer is passionate about connecting with adolescents and young adults, providing education on the importance of balanced nutrition, and fostering a healthy relationship with food. Her compassionate approach and commitment to empowering her clients help them navigate their journeys toward recovery and well-being.
